Our amazing orchestra kicked off this week of holiday concerts. Last night's amazing performance included Grand Oaks' mariachi band, a student directed ensemble, a cello choir featuring students from Grand Oaks and York Jr. High, a rousing rendition of Four Seasons, Winter (by Vivaldi) featuring Amalia Torrealba Adames, and songs by our full orchestra that are sure to make the greenest Grinch grin. Special thanks to Mrs. Cini, Mr. Casagrande and Mr. Flake for a wonderful evening. It "sleighed!" Come check out GO Choir tonight!

The GOHS Criminal Justice Club competed in their first event of the year ,TXPSTA, in Huntsville this weekend. GO competed in 11 events with five 1st place and two 2nd place finishes. All these members will advance to the TXPSTA State Competition in February. LETS GO!!!

The GOHS Aviation Club recently visited Terminal Radar Approach CONtrol. Students toured the facility and observed live air traffic. Houston TRACON coverage serves College Station thru the Greater Houston area to Beaumont. #GOAviation
GOHS Construction Trades students attended the Texas Masonry Council Houston Masonry Showcase today. Students learned about scaffold safety, OSHA regulations, and bricklaying. #GOCTE

The Polar Express festival returns this Saturday 12/7 from 3-6 PM. There is something for all ages including food trucks, vendors, carnival games, bouncy houses, and more. It is free to attend, and the entire GOHS feeder zone is invited.
